Service Description
Want to make you own unique piece of Sterling Silver Jewellery? This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll get the chance to carve your very own ring or pendant in jeweller’s wax. No experience needed, just curiosity, creativity, and a love for shiny things. This workshop will teach you the basic skills you need to be able to carve a piece wax. Wax carving is an ancient technique used in jewellery making. It involves sculpting a design in wax, which is then cast into metal using the lost wax casting method. This process allows for detailed, one-of-a-kind pieces and is still widely used today to create unique, handcrafted jewellery. I will take care of the work behind the scenes turning your wax creations into sterling silver (or gold vermeil) jewellery, polish it up, and send to its new home. Duration - 3 hours
